Two full-web crescent gloves that were popular during the early 1900s. The glove derives its name from the raised ridge that forms a "crescent" along the base of the palm. The first is a brown-leather Spalding model that displays moderate-to-heavy wear, including two small tears on the front near the base of two of the fingers. Vg. The other, made of soft, white leather, bears no manufacturer's stampings. Heavy wear is evident in the form of numerous abrasions on the front palm and middle finger. Gd-Vg. Total: 2 gloves. Reserve $300. Estimate $1,000+.
