Collection of fifty-five single-signed balls, representing thirty-nine different players. Although only one of the players represented here is a Hall of Famer (Rod Carew), most of the names should be well known to even the most casual of fans. Unless otherwise noted, all of the balls are either official American League (Brown) or National League (Giamatti) balls and have been signed (in a variety of inks) on the sweet spot, with the signatures grading "9" or "10." Nearly all of the balls display varying degrees of age toning, otherwise all are in Near Mint to Mint condition. Included in the collection, with the number of balls for each player (if more than one) noted in parentheses, are Cal Abrams, Sandy Amoros, Ewell Blackwell, Ralph Branca (2), Tommy Byrne, Rod Carew, Ed Charles, Joe Collins, Doc Cramer (2), Curt Flood (3), Carl Furillo (2), Al Gionfriddo, Dick Groat (4), Tommy Henrich, Gene Hermanski Tommy John, Charlie Keller (3), Ed Kranepool, Don Larsen (2), Bobby Malkmus (on a Rawlings "Official Minor League" ball), Don Mattingly, Andy Pafko (2), Mel Parnell (2), Joe Pepitone (signature grades "5/6"), Johnny Podres, Boog Powell, Vic Raschi, Allie Reynolds, Dusty Rhodes, Bobby Richardson, Herb Score (2), George Shuba, Eddie Stanky, Bobby Thomson (2), Jim Turner, Harry Walker, and Eddie Yost (2). Total: 55 signed balls. Auction LOA from James Spence/JSA.
