Outstanding high-grade pair of cards from the classic M116 Sporting Life set. This pair consists of Larry Gardner (Boston Red Sox, one of three graded at this level) and Jack Lapp (Philadelphia Athletics, one of two graded at this level). Each is bright and crisp, with four sharp corners, flawless registration, and centering to the right. The back of each card (which is of the rarer "Over 300 Subjects" variety) is flawless, perfectly clean, with bold blue print, and centering to the left. This is a very attractive high-grade pair worthy of any world-class M116 set or type-card collection. Total: 2 cards. Reserve $200. Estimate (open).
