Presented is an incredible ultra high-grade complete 77-card set of 1964 Topps Stand-Ups, entirely graded and encapsulated by PSA. The offered set is by far the finest and highest-graded complete set of this extremely popular issue we have had in our 40+ years! The 1964 Topps Stand-Ups set is one of Topps' most popular insert sets of all time. It features colorful images of star players set against a green-and-yellow background. These fragile cards were designed to have the tops "punched out," allowing the cards to stand freely. This feature, along with the flush-to-the-border design of the set, makes finding these unusual cards in high grade very challenging. The backs are blank, and the cards are unnumbered. The set includes twenty-two particularly scarce single-print cards that have been a thorn in collectors' sides for decades. The offered set consists of twenty-seven NM-MT+ 8.5s and fifty NM-MT 8s. It is currently ranked sixth on the PSA Set Registry with an extremely impressive overall GPA of 8.15. PSA Grading Composite: NM-MT+ 8.5 (27 cards): Aguirre, Alvis, Aspromonte, Barber, Boyer, Broglio, Cepeda, Charles, Colavito, Culp SP, Drysdale SP, Ellsworth, Gentile, Gonder SP, Hinton, Malzone, Mantle, Marichal SP, Mathews SP, McBride, Osteen, O'Toole, Pearson SP, Fl. Robinson, Rollins, Spahn SP, and L. Thomas. NM-MT 8 (50 cards): Aaron, Altman, Baldschun SP, Banks, Battey, Callison, Cash SP, Causey, Clemente, Cendenon SP, Davis, Farrell, Fregosi, Friend, Gonzalez SP, Groat, Held, E. Howard, F. Howard SP, Hunt, Jackson, Johnson, Kaline, Killebrew, Koufax, Lock SP, Lumpe SP, Maloney, Mays, Mazeroski, McCovey SP, Pascual, Peters, Pinson, Pizarro, Powell, Richardson, B. Robinson, Fr. Robinson, Roebuck SP, Romano, Santo SP, Siebern, Stuart SP, Torre, Ward, White SP, B. Williams SP, Woodeshick SP, and Yastrzemski SP. This complete set is extremely attractive throughout. Brilliant colors, crisp images, and sharp corners. The majority of the cards were graded prior to PSA introducing half-grades, so it is likely that there may even be some cards within that would be worthy of an additional half-grade if submitted for review. The single-printed cards, which represent nearly thirty percent of the complete set, are all outstanding examples, and current price guides have not always accurately accounted for the lower populations and premium prices that they command. A world-class complete set, stunning throughout, that would be a tremendous highlight set in even the most advanced Topps or postwar-card collection. Total: 77 cards. Reserve $5,000.
