Graded EX 5 by PSA. Very attractive rookie card of Hall of Fame pitcher Sandy Koufax. This is one of the 1950s' most famous and noteworthy cards. The 1955 Topps Koufax rookie (#123) is also the most valuable card in that year's set after Roberto Clemente's rookie card in the high-number series. The card displays brilliant colors, strong corners, flawless registration, and outstanding centering. The offered example is free of any printing specs in the yellow background, which are so common to this card. Entirely clean reverse. This is an outstanding example of Sandy Koufax's rookie card, one of the most popular and classic of all 1950s bubble-gum cards. Reserve $300. Estimate $500+.
