Graded NM 7 by PSA. Superb high-grade PSA example of one of the all-time great Jimmie Foxx cards, and one of the universally recognized classics of all 1930s bubble-gum cards. This 1933 Goudey #154 Jimmie Foxx displays bold colors and an extremely bold image that "jumps" off the bright yellow background. The card is clean both front and back. An imposing physical specimen with bulging muscles, Jimmie Foxx was more than just a slugger. In his prime, he challenged Babe Ruth's single-season home-run record, won three MVP awards, and the Triple Crown. He won two World Series titles with Connie Mack's Athletics, and retired as the second leading home-run hitter of all time, with 534 homers. This is an extremely attractive, exceptional high-grade example of one of the most popular and classic cards of one of the most highly collected Hall of Famers, legendary slugger Jimmie Foxx.  Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$1,500+.
