Collection of twenty-eight checks, each signed by a different Hall of Fame player, including Clark Griffith. Checks have long been a favorite of autograph collectors due to their inherent authenticity and the fact that the signatures on them are almost always very well executed. Unless otherwise noted, all of the checks are personal checks and feature the printed name of the respective player and/or his wife. All of the signatures, penned in a variety of inks, grade "9" or "10" and each of the checks displays normal bank cancellation stamps and/or perforations. Sizes range from 6 x 2.75 inches to 8.25 x 3 inches. Each listing consists of the date, condition, and any other pertinent information (if needed). 1) Richie Ashburn.
