1957 Topps production uncut sheet of 88 cards is highlighted by three key cards to the set: #302 Sandy Koufax, 328 Brooks Robinson rookie, and 338 Jim Bunning rookie. All cards on this sheet are from the scarce fourth series (#265-352). This is a final production sheet with fully printed backs. Additional key cards include Bobby Richardson rookie, Tony Kubek rookie, Giants team, Reds team, and Dodgers team. This 88-card sheet is technically defined as a partial sheet, as 1957 Topps were printed in 132-card production sheets. Four eleven-card rows at the top have long ago been neatly cut away, but the sheet certainly has the presence of a full-sheet display. The fourth series cards (#265-352) have always been among the rarest and most highly respected of all 1957 Topps cards. Technically the sheet is in approximately Good condition due to various flaws, including a 2-inch tear on the left border, several creases, and various small tears along the bottom. However, as can easily be seen, the sheet displays beautifully. This is an extremely rare 1957 Topps partial uncut sheet, highlighted by several of the key cards in the set. This is the first 1957 Topps rare "Fourth Series" sheet we have ever seen or offered. It is of great significance both as a rare series 1957 Topps sheet and for its inclusion of key cards including Koufax. It is ideal for framing and display, and is extraordinary in many respects, but may represent a relatively affordable alternative to a problem-free full sheet, if one even exists and were available for sale. The sheet measures 27.75 x 28.5 inches. Reserve $1,000. Estimate $2,000+. SOLD FOR $7,703
