Collection of 282 Topps Venezuelan cards, dating from 1959 through 1968, highlighted by many key cards and Hall Famers, including Mickey Mantle, and representing nine different rare sets. Though they receive little attention because they are virtually never found in high grade, Topps Venezuelan cards are among the most unusual and rare baseball-card sets of the decade. This is a fascinating assemblage with many highlights. It is truly a collection unto itself! As is usually the case with Topps Venezuelan cards (which were intended to be glued into albums), condition varies. The condition ranges from Poor to Vg (includes a few Vg-Ex). Seventeen cards are graded by PSA. The collection consists of the following: 1) 1959 (26 cards): two #3 (one with rare "cream" back), 11 (rare "cream" back), 21, 23 (rare "cream" back), 24, 35 Kluszewski (PSA VG 3), 39 (PSA VG 3 mk), 41, 42, 43 (rare "cream" back), 46 (rare "cream" back), 52, 56, two 64 (one with rare "cream" back), 71, 75 (PSA GOOD 2), 77, 83, 92, 93 (rare "cream" back), 97, 103 (rare "cream" back), 104 (PSA PR 1 mk), and 106 (rare "cream" back). 2) 1960 (8 cards): #1 Wynn, 20, 49, 91, 112, 115, 187, and 193. 3) 1962 (30 cards): #3, 27, 29 Stengel, 32, two 48, 51 AL Batting Ldrs (PSA PR 1), 62, 68, 76, 88, 92, 94, 97, 105, 108, 124, 130, 138 Ruth, 150 Kaline (PSA GOOD 2), 151, 163, 169, 171, 175, 178, 181, 182, 185, and 190. 4) 1964 (48 cards): #6, 11 NL RBI Ldrs (PSA VG 3), 18, 46, 61, 66, 74, 79, 88, 92, 130, 134 Zimmer, 142, 147, 148, 157, 166, 182 Sox Sockers (PSA VG 3), 186, 191, 196, 198, 206, 222, 227, 233, 242, 258, 261, 268, 281, 289, 292, 299, two 305, 307, 319, 320 Colavito, 333, 338, 340, 342 Stargell (PSA GOOD 2), 343, 344, 352, 357, and 367. 5) 1966 (42 cards): #1 Mays (PSA GOOD 2), 25, 50 Mantle, 61, 75, 99 Buc Belters (PSA VG-EX 4), 105, 118, 131, 135, 142, 155, 159, 165, 173, 181, 185, 195 Morgan, two 196, two 197 (one is PSA EX 5 mc), 199, 207, 216 AL Batting Ldrs (PSA VG 3), 223 NL Pitching Ldrs (PSA GOOD 2), 235, 243, 290 Santo (PSA VG 3), 292, 307, 311, 324, two 326, 333, 334, 335, 336, 350, 357, and 365 Maris. 6) 1967 Winter League (45 cards): #1, 2, three 4, 11, 15, 24, 36, 40, 45, 47 Aparicio, 49, 50, 52, 53, 54, 57, 59, 63, 64, two 65, two 67, 68, 70, 71, 82, 83, 85, 97, 99, 102, 103, 104, 115, 120, 124, 127, 128, 129, 131, 132, and 133. 7) 1967 Retirado (3 cards): #156 Speaker, 158 Appling (PSA VG 3), and 170 Simmons (PSA GOOD 2). 8) 1967 MLB (36 cards): #192 Mantle, 194 F.
