Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Magnificent high-grade example of Sandy Koufax's rookie card. The 1955 Topps Koufax rookie (#123) is the most valuable card in that year's set after Roberto Clemente's rookie card in the high-number series. Bright, crisp, and clean, with four sharp corners, near-perfect centering, and flawless registration. Of special note, there are no print lines whatsoever, which is a common problem with this card, as well as many other 1955 Topps cards. Centered just a hint to the right border (approximately 55/45), this is a card that is bordering on Mint condition. This is a very attractive high-grade example of Sandy Koufax's rookie card, one of the most popular and classic of all 1950s bubble-gum cards. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$2,000+.
