Graded EX-MT 6 by PSA. Extremely attractive example of Hank Aaron's rookie card. One of card collecting's greatest classics, Aaron's rookie card is the key to the 1954 Topps set, and one of the most popular of all postwar baseball cards. This is a very strong and striking example. The card exhibits vibrant colors, four square corners (a little more wear on the top left and right), and perfect registration. The image is centered just a hint to the left border (approximately 45/55). Usually this card is offered by Robert Edward Auctions only in the context of a complete set, but we are presenting this modern classic as its own lot in part to emphasize that, with patience, some of card collecting's most interesting and noteworthy cards are possible to collect in extremely high grade without spending a fortune. This is a strong example of Hank Aaron’s rookie card, one of the most important of all classic 1950s cards. SMR value is $975. Reserve $200. Estimate $400/$800. SOLD FOR $1,304
