Collection of two classic Mickey Mantle cards from two different key sets from the 1950s. These are two extremely sharp high-grade examples. 1) 1953 Topps #82 (PSA EX-MT 6). Beautiful example of one of Mantle's most popular cards. This very striking high-grade example has only the slightest hint of wear to the corners, and is centered towards the top left. The colors are bright and crisp. Upon close inspection there is a surface scratch on the side of Mantle's cap. 2) 1954 Red Heart (SGC EX/NM 80). Flawless bold colors. Fresh and crisp with extremely strong corners. This is a very attractive high-grade pair of early 1950s Mantle cards, each in an extremely desirable high grade and each representing the key card from its respective set. SMR value is $2,340. Total: 2 cards. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$2,000.
