Graded NM 84 by SGC. Highest-graded example by SGC! Outstanding ultra high grade N172 Old Judge example of M. C. Robinson (#389-1 pose) of the Minneapolis Millers (Western Association). This is a stunning high-grade N172 Old Judge! This card is part of a larger collection of N172 cards, which we have broken down into several smaller lots organized by condition. Of the 85 cards we submitted for grading from the collection, this card was the highest graded, so we decided to offer it separately. It is an ideal sample. Bright, crisp, and clean, front and back, with square corners, a flawless surface, and an extremely bold image. The reverse is perfectly clean with just a couple tiny spots of toning (mentioned strictly for the sake of accuracy). This is a very striking high-grade example from the most important of all nineteenth-century sets. Reserve $200. Estimate $400/$800.
