Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Highest-graded example! One of thirteen #154 Jimmie Foxx examples graded at this level in the history of PSA, with none graded higher. Spectacular ultra high-grade example of one of the all-time great Jimmie Foxx cards, and one of the universally recognized classics of all 1930s bubble-gum cards. This 1933 Goudey #154 Jimmie Foxx has four sharp corners, flawless colors, and an extremely bold image that "jumps" off the bright yellow background. Centered toward the left border (35/65 L/R). The card is perfectly clean both front and back. An imposing physical specimen with bulging muscles, Jimmie Foxx was more than just a slugger. In his prime, he challenged Babe Ruth's single-season home-run record, won three MVP awards, and the Triple Crown. He won two World Series titles with Connie Mack's Athletics, and retired as the second leading home-run hitter of all time, with 534 homers. This is a stunning world-class example of one of the most popular and classic cards of one of the most highly collected Hall of Famers, legendary slugger Jimmie Foxx. SMR value is $8,500. Reserve $2,500. Estimate $5,000+. SOLD FOR $6,518
