Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Outstanding ultra high-grade, factory-set-fresh card featuring Hall of Famer Eddie Collins. Only three examples of this classic card have ever been graded higher by PSA. While Cracker Jacks were issued one card per box, in 1915 the entire set of 176 cards could also be ordered direct from the factory by mail in exchange for 100 coupons, or one coupon plus 25 cents. Cracker Jacks are universally regarded as one of the most classic and highly regarded baseball-card sets ever produced. This is a crisp card, perfectly clean front and back, no stains, virtually perfect centering, four sharp corners, and with a particularly deep red background. The reverse of the card is also perfectly bright and clean, with crisp, bold black text. This is a very sharp card! It is rare to find any Cracker Jack in such high grade, let alone a high-grade example of Hall of Famer Eddie Collins (which, as a very low-numbered card that gravitates to the top of the stack and therefore tends to be subject to more wear than most cards, is a natural condition rarity). The equivalent SMR value for the assigned grade is $4,200. Reserve $1,000. Estimate $2,000+. SOLD FOR $3,555
