Gorgeous complete high-grade set of 1910 T212 Obak Cigarettes cards (175 cards), entirely graded and encapsulated by PSA. Fifty-two of these cards are the highest-ever PSA-graded examples! Thirty-one additional cards have only one example ever graded higher. The set is comprised of one NM 7 (OC), twelve EX-MT 6s, two EX+ 5.5s, fifteen EX 5s, nine VG-EX+ 4.5s, fifty-two VG-EX 4s, five VG+ 3.5s, thirty-five VG 3s, nine GOOD+ 2.5s, fourteen GOOD 2s, one FR 1.5, seven PR 1, and thirteen Authentic. The set is listed as the #1 Set on the PSA Registry. Obaks are among the most popular of all early card issues featuring players from the Pacific Coast League. While catalogued simply as T212, Obaks were actually issued over a period of three years, from 1909 to 1911, and are really three sets. The offered 1910 Obak set (which has 175 cards), in addition to featuring players from the six PCL teams, also features players from the four-team Northwestern League. The 1910 set cards are easily distinguished by the blue printing on their backs, which is in less ornate font than that on the 1909 cards. This is a magnificent set! The complete PSA condition composite follows: One NM 7 (OC): Boardman. Twelve EX-MT 6: Agnew, Baker, Bassey, Briggs, Brown (Vancouver), Danzig, Gurney, Hogan (Oakland), Lynch, McCredie, Seaton (Portland), and Shea. Two EX+ 5.5: Carroll and Perry.
