Collection of thirty-six different T206 White Border cards in various grades, including five Hall of Famers, highlighted by Cy Young. Most of the cards have Piedmont or Sweet Caporal backs, but also included are American Beauty 350 (3), Cycle 350, and Sovereign 150. Six cards are graded by PSA. Highlights: Chase/white cap (GOOD 2), Evers/Chicago (VG-EX 4), Griffith/port. (trimmed), Huggins/port. (VG-EX 4), Maddox (VG-EX 4), McGraw/finger (GOOD+ 2.5), and Young/bare hand (VG-EX 4). The balance of the cards in this collection grade as follows: Nineteen cards range from Gd to Vg, and ten are lesser (including a few trimmed). Tobacco cards in this condition represent perhaps the best value among all vintage baseball cards. This is a very attractive small group of classic T206 tobacco cards. The SMR value for just the six graded cards (not including the thirty ungraded cards) is $1,340. Total: 36 cards. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$1,500. SOLD FOR $2,133
