Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Only example graded at this level by PSA, with only one graded higher (NM-MT+ 8.5). This is an ideal high-grade sample card of Bill Bailey from the highly desirable E90-1 American Caramel series. This is a beautiful card! Bright and crisp, both front and back, with four sharp corners, a perfect image set against a vibrant colored background, no caramel stains, and centered just a hint to the right. The back is also bright and clean, with bold text. Caramel cards, of course, are rarely found in high grade. This example is in in remarkable high-grade for any E90-1 American Caramel card. Of the 3,114 E90-1s graded in the entire history of PSA to date, only fourteen cards of any player have been graded NM-MT 8, and only two have graded higher (both NM-MT+ 8.5; there are no E90-1 that have been graded MINT 9 or GEM MINT 10 for any player). These numbers speak for themselves. This is a spectacular PSA NM-MT 8 example from the most popular caramel-card set of the era. In fact, this is the first PSA NM-MT 8 E90-1 example we have ever offered. (Even when offering sets, we have never had a Nr/Mt-Mt example.) The SMR value for the assigned grade is $1,500. Reserve $300. Estimate $1,000+. SOLD FOR $2,963
