Graded EX 60 by SGC. Only one example graded higher by SGC. This is a gorgeous card! Extremely attractive example of key Hall of Famer Ty Cobb in a batting pose from the classic E90-1 American Caramel series. For an E90-1 American Caramel Company card, SGC EX 60 is an impressive grade, and it is easy to see even at a glance that this card is far above the norm for any E90-1 American Caramel card, let alone Ty Cobb. This caramel card is widely recognized by collectors as one of Cobb’s most striking cards, but is rarely found this nice. Bright and crisp, both front and back, with brilliant colors, light, even wear to the corners, flawless registration, and centered slightly to the left. The reverse is also perfectly clean with bold black printing. This is an exceptional example of the key Hall of Famer from the most popular caramel-card set of the era. The equivalent SMR value for the assigned grade is $4,500. Reserve $1,000. Estimate $2,000/$3,000+. SOLD FOR $5,925
