Collection of five Hall of Famers, spanning the years of 1929 to 1933, from five different unusual baseball-card issues, each the earliest or one of the earliest issued cards for the respective Hall of Famer. Four of the five cards have been graded and encapsulated by SGC (except one PSA). 1) 1924 Zeenut PCL: Mickey Cochrane (SGC deemed the card had evidence of color added in the upper left corner to cover up a diagonal crease, otherwise the card is in Fair condition). 2) 1929 Zeenut PCL: Lefty Gomez (SGC POOR 10, Good appearance downgraded for a pinhole near the top). 3) 1930 Baguer Chocolate: Al Lopez (SGC NM/MT 88, rare Cuban issue of black-and-white photos that measure 5/8 x 7/8 inches). 4) 1931 W502: #13 Bill Dickey (SGC VG/EX 50, tiny corner crease in the upper right and centered 80/20 L/R, otherwise Nr/Mt). 5) 1933 Worch Cigar: Al Lopez (PSA EX 5, rare high-quality postcard-sized premium card [3-3/8 x 5-3/8 inches] issued by the Worch Cigar Company of St. Paul, Minnesota). Extremely unusual collection of significant Hall of Famer cards from the late 1920s and 1930s. Total 5 cards. Reserve $300. Estimate $500/$1,000. SOLD FOR $4,113
