Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Only two examples have been graded higher by PSA. High-grade factory-set fresh card of Hall of Famer Ray Schalk. While Cracker Jacks were issued one card per box, in 1915 the entire set of 176 cards could also be ordered direct from the factory by mail in exchange for 100 coupons, or 1 coupon plus 25 cents. Cracker Jacks are universally regarded as one of the most classic and highly regarded baseball-card sets ever produced. This is crisp, essentially perfect card, perfectly clean front and back, no stains, four sharp corners, flawless registration, and a particularly deep red background. Centered a hint to the left, with a very slight natural diamond cut. The reverse of the card is also perfectly bright and clean, with crisp, bold black text. This is a very sharp card. It is rare to find any Cracker Jack in such high grade, let alone a high-grade example of Hall of Famer Ray Schalk. Reserve $800. Estimate $1,500/$2,500. SOLD FOR $3,231
