Collection of six exceptionally strong 1914 E145 Cracker Jack Hall of Famers, each graded and encapsulated by SGC: 1) #12 Connie Mack (EX 60). Well-centered card with just a little rounding to the corners, and a very light stain on the reverse (which is so common with 1914 Cracker Jack cards). 2) #19 Chief Bender (EX 60). Centered slightly to the left, with flawless colors, and even wear on all four corners. 3) #32 Mordecai Brown (VG/EX 50). Perfectly clean front and back, and a light crease in each of the two right corners. 4) #36 Ed Walsh (EX+ 70). Centered to the right with bold, crisp colors. Clean front and back with just a slight hint of wear to the corners. 5) #52 Zach Wheat (EX+ 70). Bright and crisp, centered very slightly to the right. 6) #69 John McGraw (EX 60). Flawless image, with light stains on the front and back, and centered to the far right. These are six beautiful and particularly high quality Hall of Famers from the extremely condition-sensitive 1914 E145 Cracker Jack series, universally regarded as one of the premier baseball-card sets of the early twentieth century. Total 6 cards. Reserve $1,000. Estimate $2,000/$4,000+. SOLD FOR $5,288
