Graded NM 7 by PSA. Only example graded at this level by PSA, with just one graded higher. Extraordinary high-grade example of the rare Ward Miller (Chicago) card from the T207 set: a significant rarity from the popular T207 Brown Background series. This card is among the rarest cards in the entire set. While the Lowdermilk is the most famous of all the rarities in the T207 set, because it was originally listed in the American Card Catalog as the only rare card in the set, many advanced collectors consider Miller, Chicago, even rarer. This is an amazing specimen. The card is bright, crisp, and clean, with a perfect image, four square corners showing a hint of wear in lower right, and centered slightly to the right (approximately 65/35). Cycle Cigarettes advertisement on the reverse. Today collectors recognize many cards as being of various degrees of rarity in the T207 set; Miller (Chicago) will always be recognized as one of the key rarities from the classic T207 set. This is a stunning ultra high-grade example, by far the finest we have ever seen or offered, of this key T207 rarity. Reserve $2,500. Estimate (open). SOLD FOR $5,581
