Collection of twenty-five different high-grade 1912 T202 Triple Folders, each graded EX-MT 6 by PSA (except two SGC EX/NM 80). This is an exceptionally crisp, clean, high-grade group, potentially providing upgrades or representing a very substantial start toward the assembly of a high-grade set. Highlighted by "Black Sox" member Eddie Cicotte. In the following condition composite, cards are identified by the numbers provided by the Standard Catalog of Baseball Cards checklist. Consists of the following: #10 Birmingham/Turner, 33 Ball/Stovall, 35 Payne/White, 41 Stanage/Summers, 43 Delahanty/Jones, 49 Doyle/Merkle, 55 Dooin/Titus, 56 Doyle/Mekle (SGC EX/NM 80), 63 Archer/Reulbach, 70 McConnell/McIntyre, 71 McLean/Suggs, 76 Cicotte/Stahl ("Black Sox" member), 77 Delahanty/Jones, 80 Crandall/Meyers, 81 Becker/Devore, 87 Meyers/Wiltse, 91 Kling/Mattern, 96 McConnell/McIntyre, 100 McBride/Milan (SGC EX/NM 80), 103 Barger/Bergen, 104 Chase/Wolter, 108 Austin/Stovall, 111 Gray/Groom, 113 Ford/Sweeney, and 120 Birmingham/Turner. This is a very bright, clean, attractive group, with many cards downgraded only on account of very minor technical flaws which are so common to the issue, and with most cards having an appearance superior to their assigned grades. SMR value for the group is $9,375. Total 25 cards. Reserve $2,500. Estimate $5,000++. SOLD FOR $5,581
