Graded EX 5 by PSA. Only eight examples have been graded higher by PSA. This is one of the most desirable Cobb cards in the 1912 T202 Hassan Triple Folders series, featuring Cobb on both an end panel and center panel. The center panel features Cobb in his famous sliding pose, which is based on a photograph by legendary photographer Charles Conlon. The offered example is centered slightly to the right, with deep, rich colors, four square corners, and a clean reverse. Only a natural vertical print line on the right side near the fold on the Moriarty panel (common with T202s due to their method of production) keeps this card from an even higher grade. Bright and clean, both front and back. This is a striking high-grade example of one of vintage-card collecting's great Ty Cobb cards. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$1,500+. SOLD FOR $2,350
