Sharp-looking collection of thirty-five different T202 Hassan Triple Folders, one of the most classic of all tobacco issues. The cards have all been graded EX 5 by PSA (unless otherwise noted). T202s often look far superior to their PSA grades as they are downgraded due to extremely small technical flaws natural to the issue. In the following condition composite, cards are identified by the numbers provided by the Standard Catalog of Baseball Cards checklist. Consists of the following: #4 Barger/Bergen, 13 Carrigan/Wagner, 19 Archer/Rowan, 21 Chase/Wolter, 23 Gibson/Phillippe, 25 Chase/Wolter, 26 Chase/Wolter, 28 Gibson/Leifield, 37 Carrigan/Wagner, 48 Camnitz/Gibson, 50 Leach/Wilson, 53 Dooin/Doolan, 54 Dooin/Lobert, 57 Elberfeld/Milan, 62 Archer/Overall, 67 Sweeney/Ford, 73 Dahlen/Scanlan, 74 Gray/Groom, 75 Lord/Tannehill, 78 Ames/Meyers, 86 Murray/Snodgrass, 89 Bridwell/Kling, 93 Dooin/Lobert, 94 Lord/Tannehill, 98 Bates/Bescher, 99 Lord/Oldring, 102 Lord/Oldring, 109 Schulte/Sheckard (SGC EX 60), 112 Ford/Vaughn, 117 Hauser/Konetchy, 122 Gaspar/McLean, 123 Ames/Meyers, 124 Crandall/Meyers, 128 Meyers/Wiltse, and 131 Austion/Stovall. These cards have been graded harshly, as is the standard for T202s. This is a very bright, clean, attractive group, that could provide a significant foundation for or make a major contribution to the assembly of a very high-quality set. This is an exceptionally strong high-quality selection of arguably the most interesting and beautiful baseball tobacco issue ever produced. Total SMR value for the group is $7,700. Total 35 cards. Reserve $2,000. Estimate $4,000/$6,000+. SOLD FOR $4,994
