Collection of fifteen scarce T206 Southern Leaguers (out of the 48 cards which comprise the entire “Southern League” subset), each graded and encapsulated by PSA. One card is graded EX+ 5.5, eight are EX 5, and six are VG-EX 4. The collection is comprised of the following: Bastian - San Antonio (EX 5, Piedmont), Coles - Augusta (EX 5, Old Mill), Ellam - Nashville (VG-EX 4, Piedmont), Greminger - Montgomery (EX 5, Old Mill), Hart - Little Rock (VG-EX 4, Piedmont), Hart - Montgomery (EX+ 5.5, Old Mill), Lafitte - Macon (EX 5, Piedmont), Molesworth - Birmingham (EX 5, Old Mill), Mullaney - Jacksonville (EX 5, Piedmont), Orth - Lynchburg (VG-EX 4, Old Mill), Paige - Charleston (VG-EX 4, Old Mill), Reagan - New Orleans (VG-EX 4, Piedmont), Revelle - Richmond (EX 5, Old Mill), Rockenfeld - Montgomery (VG-EX 4, Piedmont), and Seitz (EX 5, Piedmont). The Southern Leaguers have always been appreciated for their scarcity and as a popular subset to the T206 series. Collectors find it particularly challenging to assemble a complete set. This is a very impressive looking group, with most cards having an appearance superior to their technically accurate assigned grades. The SMR value for the group is $2,580. Total 15 cards. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$2,000.
