Graded EX 60 by SGC. Highest-graded example! Incredible high-grade card of Hall of Famer Frank Chance from the exceptionally rare M110 Sporting Life cabinet-card set issued in 1911. This card features a striking image of Chance in a throwing pose. This auction includes the complete M110 set, assembled and presented by the same consignor, with each card offered individually. M110s are similar in design to, but far rarer than, the contemporary T3 Turkey Red cabinets. These cards have always been revered for their extreme rarity as well as their impressive design and distinctive style. This is an extremely high-grade card with just the slightest hint of corner wear; it is otherwise in virtually flawless condition. Bright, fresh, and impeccably clean, both front and back, with bold blue text on the reverse. Very conservatively graded EX by SGC, this card has a strong Excellent to Mint appearance. This card would make a significant addition to any world-class collection of sample cards, high-grade rarities, Hall of Famers, or prewar cards. Dimensions: 5-5/8 x 7-1/2 inches. Reserve $2,500. Estimate $5,000+.
