This large team photograph of the Cleveland Naps was issued as a special premium by Fatima cigarettes. All T200 premiums are extremely rare. The Cleveland Americans are considered by many to be the most desirable in this series, because of the inclusion on this team of future "Black Sox" star Joe Jackson, as well as Hall of Famer Nap Lajoie. This extraordinary T200 premium is new to the collecting world and has a fascinating provenance: It originates directly from the collection of former Major Leaguer Jack Graney, who was a teammate of Joe Jackson with the Cleveland Naps and he appears on the premium (in the front row seated on the left). T200 Premiums, which are giant versions of the T200 Fatima team cards packaged with Fatima cigarettes, feature team photos on thick cardboard mounts, and are ideal for display. These large premium team cards are among the rarest of all baseball tobacco issues, and were available only by mail in exchange for 40 coupons which were included (one per pack) with Fatima cigarettes. This example has two very small surface tears (upper left and right portion of the premium) which are of no consequence. Despite small flaws, the premium still has an overall Near Mint appearance, presents a magnificent and crystal-clear image, and is ideal for display. This is an extraordinary newly discovered example of this key T200 Fatima Premium, and one of Joe Jackson's greatest and most impressive tobacco-card rarities. 11.75 x 19.5 inches. Reserve $2,500. Estimate (open). SOLD FOR $18,800
