Black-and-white (Artvue) Hall of Fame postcard of Jimmie Foxx, signed in blue fountain pen (grading “10”) in the lower margin. Jimmy Foxx is, naturally, one of the most highly prized of all signed Hall of Fame postcards, and this is easily one of the finest signed postcard examples of the legendary slugger in existence. It is essentially flawless. Looking virtually exactly as it did when first purchased at the Hall of Fame gift store, the postcard remains in spectacular Near Mint condition. Black-and-white Hall of Fame postcards were only issued between the years 1944 and 1963. Foxx was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1951 and passed away in 1967. This is an extraordinary Jimmy Foxx signed Hall of Fame postcard example. LOA from James Spence/JSA. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000+. SOLD FOR $1,998
