Graded VG 3 by PSA (submitted by REA). Very presentable example of the 1929-1930 4-on-1 Exhibit featuring Hall of Famers Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, and Leo Durocher (rookie) alongside Mark Koenig. In 1929 the Exhibit Supply Co. of Chicago changed the design of its cards and began issuing “4 on 1” Exhibits featuring four different players per card, all from the same team. This is the key card from that first year 4-on-1 set and features portraits of Yankee standouts Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Leo Durocher (rookie) and Mark Koenig. This example boasts outstanding centering, crisp images, even wear on the corners, no creases, and a clean post card reverse. The light stain on the lower portion of the card accounts for the assigned grade. A solid example and worthy addition to any 1929-1930 4-on-1 Exhibits, New York Yankees, or Ruth/Gehrig collection.
