The 1914 Cracker Jack is understandably one of Walter Johnson's most desirable and popular cards. Johnson, of course, is one of the significant key cards in the set, along with Cobb, Jackson, Wagner, and Mathewson. The card displays outstanding color, perfect registration, centering to the left, moderate creasing, and even corner rounding. It is almost entirely free of caramel staining, which so often plagues 1914 Cracker Jacks. Graded GOOD 2 (MK) by PSA, this example shows the word "Pitcher" written on the front and the number "227" written on the reverse, both in pen. Presentable low-grade example that would be a worthy addition to a collection of Cracker Jack, Walter Johnson, or vintage Hall of Fame cards. Reserve $300. Estimate (open).
