Collection of seven different 1914 E145 Cracker Jack cards, highlighted by Hall of Famer Eddie Collins. Each card is graded and encapsulated by PSA (four) or SGC (three). The 1914 #144 series Cracker Jacks are far rarer than their 1915 counterparts, because the 1914 cards were not available by mail, and could only be obtained one card per package in boxes of Cracker Jacks. Because of their method of issue, 1914 Cracker Jacks are also almost always found with various condition problems including caramel staining. This collection consists of the following:
#5 Miller (SGC VG 40), 7 Collins (HOF, SGC GOOD 30), 58 Schang (SGC VG+ 45), 67 Crandall (PSA VG 3), 76 Hendrix (PSA GOOD+ 2.5), 84 Knetzer (PSA GOOD 2), and 140 Murphy (PSA GOOD 2). All seven cards are bright and crisp, presenting far better than suggested by their technically accurate assigned grades. This is an exceptionally attractive mid-grade collection of 1914 Cracker Jacks. Total: 7 cards. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000+.
