Graded GOOD 2 by PSA. Attractive example of Jack Barry from the extremely elusive 1912 E300 Plow’s Candy issue. This unusual sepia-toned, large-format (3 x 4 inches) candy issue was not even known to exist until the 1960s, and is among the rarest candy cards of the era. The card displays flawless image clarity and centering slightly to the right, with moderate creasing and honest corner wear. The reverse exhibits a bit of discoloration and erased pencil writing. This example maintains excellent visual appeal, especially for the modest grade, from one of the rarest of all candy-card issues. Extraordinary as a sample card and a card that would be a significant addition to any prewar-card collection. Reserve $300. Estimate $500+.
