Very presentable group of modestly-graded 1910-era caramel cards, all featuring Hall of Famer Ty Cobb. Each card is graded and encapsulated by PSA (except for one SGC as noted). 1) 1909-1911 E90-1 American Caramel (SGC Authentic). Heavily worn and extreme creasing are responsible for the SGC Authentic designation. 2) 1909 E95 Philadelphia Caramel (PR 1). Otherwise presentable in appearance, two holes in the card accounts for the assigned grade. 3) 1922 E121 American Caramel Series 120 (PR 1). Batting variation. Heavily worn and creasing are responsible for the modest grade. 4) 1927 E210 York Caramel - Type 1 #27 (PR-FR 1). Centered slightly low with a presentable image, the moderate creasing and evidence of album removal on the reverse are responsible for the modest grade. These examples provide an excellent opportunity to acquire presentable yet relatively affordable alternatives to far more expensive higher-grade examples of these classic Ty Cobb cards. Total: 4 cards. Reserve $300. Estimate $500+.
