Presented is a very attractive pair of original unopened wax boxes from two of the 1960s' most popular nonsport-card sets: 1968 Philadelphia Gum "Robert F. Kennedy" and 1969 O-Pee-Chee "Man on the Moon." The “Kennedy” box houses twenty-four packs and the “Man on the Moon” box houses thirty-six packs. The boxes come shrink-wrapped by Baseball Card Exchange (owned by Steve Hart, the foremost expert on unopened material). While it is impossible to provide guarantees with reference to grading of unopened material, there is, of course, the very real possibility that within this box are Mint or Gem Mint examples. The “Kennedy” display box has four pieces of clear tape; two on the lid and two on the side seams. The “Man on the Moon” box only has a few minor touches of shelf wear. This is a very attractive pair of original wax boxes, which would make great additions to any collection of nonsport cards or unopened material. Total: 2 boxes. Reserve $200. Estimate $400+.
