Presented is a sizable collection of 202 cards, spanning the years 1940 to 1951, from eleven different classic nonsport sets. Some of nonsport-card collecting's most popular sets are represented, including "Hopalong Cassidy," "Wild West," and "Red Menace." This collection consists of the following: 1) 1940 R177 Zoom Airplanes Series 1 (13 cards): Condition ranges from Fr to Vg, averaging Gd. 2) 1942 R12 "America at War" (31 cards, including 12 different): Condition is eight Ex, nine Vg to Vg-Ex, and fourteen lesser (mostly due to paper loss). 3) 1943 R4 Samuel Eppy, Inc. "The Adventures of Smilin' Jack" (8 cards): Condition ranges from Fr to Vg, averaging Gd. 4) 1940s R168 "War Scenes" (2 cards): #127 and 129. Key: Fool's Gold Foil Header (Vg+). 6) 1950 Topps "Freedom's War" (27 cards): Condition is seven Vg-Ex to Ex, eight Gd to Vg, and twelve lesser. 7) 1950 Topps "Bring 'Em Back Alive" (4 cards): #83, 84, 86, and 91.
