Reggie Jackson Rawlings/Adirondack block-letter (full name) model "288RJ" bat dating from the 1987 season. Graded GU 9 by PSA/DNA. The bat display evidence of excellent use along its entire length, including ball marks (with blue-ink transfers and white-leather scuffs), stitch impressions, cleat marks, and an approximate eight-inch multiple crack in the handle. Some of the finish has been removed from the handle, which also displays a light coat of pine tar. The model number ("288RJ"), order number ("004"), and year code ("7") are stamped on the knob. 1987 was Jackson's final year in the majors, and his career ended with same team it started with: the Athletics. Jackson batted .220 with 15 home runs and 43 RBI that year, with his 563rd and final home run occurring on August 17th in a game against the Angels at Anaheim Stadium. Length: 34.5 inches.
