H&B signature-model ("W215") bat dating from the 1965-1968 manufacturing period. Graded GU 9 by PSA/DNA. The bat, which is not cracked, displays evidence of excellent use along its entire length, including ball and stitch marks, cleat marks, green rack marks, and slight checking (grain swelling) on the back barrel. Yastrzemski's uniform number ("8") is written on the knob in black marker, as is the bat's original weight ("32"), which is recorded in pencil. A three-time American League batting champion and MVP Award winner, Yastrzemski is one of only a few players in history to amass over 400 home runs and 3,000 hits. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1989. Length: 35 inches. Weight: 31.6 ounces. LOA from John Taube of PSA/DNA. Reserve $300. Estimate $1,000++.
