Collection of three "birdcage" style catcher's mask dating to the nineteenth century. Each of the masks measures approximately 9.5 inches long and is small by today's standards. All are complete with what appears to be their original head straps. One example, bearing a "Ken-Wel" manufacturer's label, is missing one of its side pads, while the bottom pad is partially detached. The other two appear to be complete with all of their original padding. One of the masks has a strap reading "Beacon Falls Rubber Shoe Co. Toledo." Each mask displays excessive use and is in Good condition overall. Total: 3 masks. Reserve $200. Estimate (open).
