Graded VG 40 by SGC (submitted by REA). This is the ONLY example graded at this level, with none higher! Outstanding PC760 Rose Postcard example of Buster Brown of the Philadelphia Phillies. It is interesting to note that this card pictures Hall of Fame pitcher Mordecai Brown, although it is supposed to be Buster Brown. Among advanced collectors, Rose Postcards are regarded as one of the most striking and magnificently designed baseball-card sets ever produced. They are also extremely rare. Crisp image and bold colors, four strong corners showing light touches of wear, and an entirely clean, postally unused reverse. Downgraded due to a few faint creases visible only on the reverse. This is an extremely attractive example from one of the era's most classic sets. Reserve $200. Estimate $400+.
