Collection of five different Brooklyn Dodgers player contracts dating from the 1956 season: Carl Erskine, Clem Labine, Billy Loes, Sandy Amoros, and Charley Neal. Each of the five four-page fold-over contracts has been signed in either blue or black ink by the respective player and Dodgers vice president Buzzy Bavasi. All of the signatures have been boldly scripted and grade "9" or "10." Billy Loes' contract also features the black-ink signature of National League president Warren Giles, and a stamped facsimile signature of American League president William Harridge (in approval of the trade of Loes' contract to the Baltimore Orioles on May 23, 1956. The Amoros and Loes contracts each display two horizontal folds; otherwise all of the contracts are in Excellent condition overall. Total: 5 signed contracts. Auction LOA from James Spence/JSA.
