Collection of eight index cards or government postcards, each signed by a different Hall of Fame player. Two of the players, Frank Baker and Roderick Wallace, have written short notes to the recipient, and their cards can be classified as letters. All of the signatures are boldly scripted, in a variety of inks, and grade "9" or "10." Unless otherwise noted, each card has been encapsulated by SGC/JSA, with the signature certified as "Authentic." 1) Frank Baker. Handwritten note, dated "Aug. 25, 1958," in blue ink on the reverse of a government postcard. In full: "Have mailed your baseball to you today. If you do not receive it in a reasonable time, let me know. J. Frank Baker. Trappe, Md." Postmarked "Trappe MD Aug. 25 1958." Ex-Mt. 2) Roderick Wallace. Handwritten note, undated, on the reverse of a government postcard. In full: Hi Jeffrey, Many thanks for your letter and all good wishes. Sincerely yours Roderick J. Wallace." The postcard has been trimmed, with the postmark cut off, and there are two strips of adhesive residue along the top and bottom borders of the reverse. Fr. 3) Lefty Grove. In black ink on the reverse of a government postcard postmarked "Lonaconing MD Dec 29 1948." The postcard has six notebook holes punched along the base and a tack hole in the center. Gd. 4) Hank Greenberg. In black marker on a lined index card. Nr-Mt. 5) Frank Frisch. Signed "' The Old Flash' Frank Frisch" in blue ink on an unlined index card. Toned; otherwise Nr-Mt. 6) Nellie Fox. Signed "Best Wishes Nellie Fox" in black ink on an unlined index card. Ex. Encapsulated by PSA/DNA, with the signature certified as "Authentic." 7) Hank Aaron. Signed "Best Wishes Hank Aaron" in blue ink on an unlined index card. Nr-Mt. 8) Eddie Collins. Cut signature (3.5 x 1 inches) in black fountain pen affixed to a lined index card. Nr-Mt.
