Original 1969 Topps uncut final production sheet from this popular set, containing a total of 132 cards arranged in eleven rows of twelve cards, highlighted by two examples of card #500 Mickey Mantle. The sheet features forty-four different double-printed cards and forty-four different single-printed cards, all from the fifth series, and is highlighted by ten cards featuring Hall of Famers, of which four appear twice. The ten Hall of Fame cards are #428 Lou Brock AS, 430 Johnny Bench AS, 432 Bob Gibson AS, 440 Willie McCovey, 460 Joe Torre (2), 462 Red Schoendienst, 480 Tom Seaver, 485 Gaylord Perry (2), 500 Mickey Mantle (2), and 510 Rod Carew (2). Both Mantle cards are positioned in the fifth row from the left. One Mantle card is essentially in MINT condition and the other has a small crease in the lower right. The sheet presents with strong visual appeal, maintaining the same vibrant colors as it did nearly fifty years ago. It does, however, display several technical flaws throughout, including creasing in areas, eight tape stains along the edges, and a small edge chip in the middle of the right border. All of these flaws are commonly found in sheets due to their large size. The offered sheet would make an outstanding companion piece to any 1969 Topps complete set or a worthy addition to any advanced uncut-sheet or Mickey Mantle collection. The sheet measures 28 x 43 inches and has been double-side framed (so both the front and back can be viewed) to dimensions of 28-1/4 x 43-1/4. The substantial size/weight of this item requires that there will be a shipping charge for this lot (which will vary depending upon where it is being shipped). The shipping charge will be billed separately from the auction invoice. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000++.
