Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. One of only three examples graded at this level with just two higher! Exceptional ultra high-grade example of Jim Delahanty (misspelled "Delehanty" on the card) from the classic 1910-1911 M116 Sporting Life set. Bright, crisp, and clean, with sharp corners, perfect registration, and centered a hint to the top. The back of the card (which is of the rarer "Over 300 Subjects" variety) is clean with bold blue print. Many collectors consider M116 to represent one of the era's most exceptional values. In terms of the number of players featured, M116 is the second most substantial set of the 1910 era featuring Major Leaguers, trailing only T206. Despite being so similar in design to their T206 counterparts, M116s in general are actually far rarer. This is a superb example that would be a worthy addition to any high-quality complete set. Reserve $200. Estimate (open).
