The 1954 Topps set has always been one of the most popular sets of the 1950s. Issued in the heart of the decade, the 1954 Topps set features the rookie cards of Hank Aaron, Ernie Banks, and Al Kaline, among many other Hall of Famers and stars, including two examples of Ted Williams (first and last card in the set), all in brilliant and stunning color. Presented is an outstanding high-grade complete set of this classic 1950s Topps issue! All of the 250 cards in this complete set have been graded and encapsulated by PSA and consist of seven NM 7s, eight EX-MT+ 6.5s, ninety-two EX-MT 6s, twenty EX+ 5.5s, and 123 EX 5s. As any collector of high-grade early 1950s cards knows, assembling a complete set of any 1950s-vintage issue is a daunting challenge, and this is even truer of 1954 Topps than with many other 1950s issues. The assembly of a set of this high quality and unrivaled consistency is the result of a tremendous investment of time, effort, and patience (in addition to capital). Many 1954 Topps cards are particularly challenging to find in high grade, especially due to print lines, centering issues, and their flush-to-the top-border design. PSA Grading Composite: NM 7 (7 cards): #41, 54, 56, 111, 134, 230, and 237. EX-MT+ 6.5 (8 cards): #33, 49, 92, 171, 173, 183 Combs, 209, and 222. EX-MT 6 (92 cards): #3 Irvin, 5, 9, 18, 19, 21-24, 26, 27, 31, 34, 36 Wilhelm, 40, 42, 46, 47, 50 Berra, 67, 73-75, 77, 80-85, 88, 91, 93, 95, 104, 108-110, 113, 115, 118, 119, 122, 123, 127, 131, 133, 135, 140, 142, 145, 153, 157, 158, 162, 163, 172, 177, 178, 181, 182, 185, 187 Manush, 191-194, 196, 199, 202-204, 206, 208, 210, 212, 214, 217, 219, 220, 226, 232, 233, 238, and 240-247.
