Original unopened 15-cent pack of 1953 Red Man tobacco, featuring an issued card on the back, beneath the clear wax-paper wrap, exactly as issued in 1953. The issued card is inserted face down, so we are unable to identify the player. Apparently, Red Man tobacco purposely did this to promote more sales of their product. This is a very rare and interesting unopened pack that shows exactly how Red Man tobacco cards were packaged. The wrap is completely intact and remains tight, with only a tiny puncture hole on the bottom edge. The tax stamps at top are intact, sealing the pack under the wax-paper wrap. This is one of the finest original unopened Red Man packs that we have ever seen, appearing as it did when it was originally sold, and it would be a worthy companion piece to any complete Red Man set or unopened pack collection. Reserve $300. Estimate $500+.
