Substantial shoebox collection of 525 cards from the 1953, 1954, and 1955 Topps baseball-card sets, highlighted by nineteen Hall of Famers. Twenty-nine cards are professionally graded and encapsulated by PSA. This collection consists of the following: 1) 1953 Topps (217 cards): Includes 106 different cards. Condition is 17% Ex, 63% Vg to Vg-Ex, and 20% Fr to Gd. Keys: #27 Campanella (Vg), 37 Mathews (Vg+), two 41 Slaughter (Vg-Ex, Vg+), two 77 Mize (both Ex), and 62 Irvin (PSA NM 7 [OC], 90/10 L/R). Additional graded cards: EX-MT 6 (1 card): #187. EX+ 5.5 (1 card): #225 Shantz SP. EX 5 (1 card): #192. VG-EX 4 (3 cards): #74, 179 (MC), and 225 Shantz SP. 2) 1954 Topps (166 cards): Includes 92 different cards. Condition is 19% Ex (including a couple higher), 56% Vg to Vg-Ex, and 25% lower. Keys: #17 Rizzuto (EX-MT 6), 20 Spahn (VG-EX 4), two 32 Snider (EX 5 and EX 5 [MC]), and 36 Wilhelm (EX 5). Additional graded cards: EX-MT 6 (4 cards): #74, 100, 112, and 129. EX 5 (5 cards): #5, 19, 34, 58, and 228. 3) 1955 Topps (142 cards): Includes 72 different cards. Condition is 18% Ex, 71% Vg to Vg-Ex, and 11% lower. Keys: #4 Kaline (VG-EX 4), three 120 Kluszewski (VG-EX 4, Vg, and Gd+), four 155 Mathews (EX-MT 6 [OC], two EX 5, and VG-EX 4), and two 187 Hodges (NM 7 [MC] and EX 5).
