Graded VG-EX 4 by PSA. Outstanding mid-grade example of Babe Ruth from the sepia-toned 1922 Eastern Exhibit series. Cards from this unusual and distinctive Exhibit style set are considerably rarer than the black-and-white Exhibit cards of the same era. Crisp and clean, both front and back, with light natural toning and light, even corner wear. A very light wrinkle extending across the postcard-style reverse accounts for the conservatively assigned grade. A very attractive example and a worthy addition to any Exhibits, Babe Ruth, or classic prewar-cards collection. Reserve $300. Estimate $500+.
