Outstanding pair of W514 strip cards, each featuring the extremely rare "Mother's Bread" advertising reverse. Each card is professionally graded and encapsulated by PSA. The W514 set is the largest and most widely collected of the various strip-card issues of the era. Cards from this set are occasionally found with advertising backs, and "Mother's Bread" is one of the scarcest. The two cards that comprise this pair are #21 Rabbit Maranville (PR 1, light corner crease and soiling and small spots of paper loss on the reverse) and #92 George Whitted (VG-EX 4, crisp and clean with a bold reverse). This is a very attractive and extremely rare pair of cards featuring the desirable "Mother's Bread" advertisement from the W514 issue, one of the most important and comprehensive sets of the era. Total: 2 cards. Reserve $200. Estimate (open).
